Default handbrake question

my question is prety simple,my friend has a 2001 civic and the handbrake lever is all chewed up from the previous owners dog and he's just wondering how to get the ebrake cover off so he can replace it.thanks in advance, haha and i'll hopefully be back here by summer with a new civic since mine went out...and my parents got me.....a saturn[sm=bangbang.gif]but oh well...good enough for the winter, just too bad it's a saturn, but i've been standing up for all the civics on the saturn forum.they have this big thread and a;ot of civic flaming is going on.

As for the question i think you have to cut it off for the brake lever to put a new one on.

haha i wish i had an ipod...but i found this crazy wire,it's got the a/v style plus(just the audio)like the ones that would plug into the back of my headunit, and connects to a single headphone jack to go in my mp3 player,do u think it'd work to wire my mp3 player into my deck,i think i heard something about it somewhere.i have an eclipse deck.and i can't remember if it has an in and out jacks or just 2 outs.and i'm lazy and don't have time to check.
