I gave the car in to get serviced and the guy at the garage said my brakes have got enough life left on them yet.
So i am assuming it cant be them.

okay, this is kind of way out there, but how heavy are your rims? I just put my 17's back on (which are a little heavier than stock), and I noticed that my e-brake doesn't lockup the wheelsas well as it did with the stock wheels.
