Handbrake Cover installation

Default Handbrake Cover installation

Hello Everyone My Problem is im having a difficult time installing a new handbrake cover I bought. I can't seem to take off the original piece. Can someone PLS hook me up with some tips

use a hacksaw to cut the existing one off thats what i did..the old one will be ruined

o.k here it is. you push the boot down away from the handle. its in a grove so it may be tough but it will go. then on the bottom of the handle is a setscrew, you may find it easier to remove the mounting screws and turn the whole assembly upsiude down to get at the screw, remove handle , reverse order
