Default Hard start... Choppy accelerating. HELP!

Have a 1998 Civic Lx I have replaced .. Fuel pump, Fuel filter, plugs, distributor cap, Rotor.. Still has not fixed the problem. The wires look new and i figured it would throw a CEL. There is no CEL on right now. Any one have ANY suggestions on what I can test/ replace to get this car running right? Thanks!

For what it is worth when the car warms up, it runs great real smooth like nothing is wrong with it. But whens she's cold real choppy!? Thanks for you advise.

Check the timing, both cam and spark. ECU test jumper must be installed to check spark timing.

Check for dead cylinders by disconnecting the fuel injectors one at a time. Do not do the old dead cylinder test of disconnecting the spark plug wires while the engine is running. That is prone to blow the coil.

You can't tell if spark wires are bad by looking. Usually though they won't cause hard starting. If the problem is primarily misfiring when heavy throttle is applied at low rpm, replace the wires.
