Default Head Gaskets?

Looks like I'm going to be replacing a head gasket soon, and was wondering what would be a good head gasket to get? I have read in a few places about using a thinner gasket to raise the compression ratio, and was wondering if someone could tell me what I could go with to do this. I have a 90 Civic hatchback standard with a D15B1 (SOHC) motor.

Thanks in advance.

Default RE: Head Gaskets?

I'd say OEM is probably one of the, if not the, best head gasket to get. I don't think a thinner one would lower it enough to be very noticable, and I remember one of the gurus around here saying it messes with the quench zones...
