Default Headlight high beams went out/engine code for oxygen???

1990 Civic DX:
My high beam headlights went out last night. Checked the fuses under the dash and everythings fine. When I pull the lever back on the steering wheel nothing happens, the light in the dash area doesn't even come on. Anybody?

And I'm getting an engine code(1 flash) thats something to do with oxygen. Changed the 02 sensor bout 8 months ago.. Anyone???

The high beams problem could be a faulty switch mechanism on the bar that you pull on to turn on the brights. As for the code, can't tell you if it's related, but pull the exact code and tell us what it is.
