Heater blower problems
I have a 2002 Civic and I need some help to get my feet warm again. I suppose I could just wait until summer but that is still a ways off. The problem I am having is I get air blowing to all the location except to the floor. It seems like the directional door is not opening when it's suppose to.
Any ideas on how to correct this problem.
Thanks

since yours is a 7th gen, i first recommend that you download your yr's service manual from the link in my signature.
2nd, depending on how the design is, it could very well be the control unit or something in the mechanics of turning these doors.
I don't know much about your gen's civics but your service manual should give you all the necessary information including diagnostic tests.
If it is vacuum controlled, then there might be a leak somewhere in the relevant vacuum hose that controls your directional door.
Otherwise, it could also be something mechanical if you can rule out the climate control unit. I hear the climate control units are expensive.
i hope this gives you a start.
