Hey,

My name is Alex and i just joined the site today and have alot of questions!!

What is the best way to go on making my car fast besides bolt ons, i have a cold air intake, unorthadox and undrive pullys.

What im wanting to do is somthing with the motor, should i buy a 00 Si motor and swap it in the or a JDM type R integra motor or what, i mean i have no idea what im doing and i dont want to just go the cheap way but just kinda start off so please help!!

Well for starters what kind of car do you have? Do you want naturally aspirated or Turbo etc... Do you want to build it for everyday driving, Drag or Auto X?

I have a 1996 5spd Honda Civic Coupe EX with AEM cold air intake, and AEM unorthodox and underive pullys.

Everythins else performance wise is stock.

You could get a motor off a 00 SI (B16) and that will be a pretty good platform to build off of. I personally like the B18C1 better since it holds up pretty well as far as boost goes. But the B16 will be cheaper than the B18C1. How much power do you want to make and how much money do you have to work with?
