help! changing brakes and fluid started draining out
alright I jacked my car up, took my wheel off (front passenger side) and started taking off the top bolt on the back of the caliper and fluid started draining out (guessing brake fluid cuz the bolt is right below where the tube runs into)
anyways the fluid started draining out once i loosened the bolt and then i just tightened everything and put everything back together... what should I do? should I just get more brake fluid? Is my car safe to drive?

why did u try taking that bolt off? how is the fluid level in the reservoir?it should be alright to drive if u have enough fluid in the reservoir and the brake pedal dosnt feel too spongy. BUT,u probably have air in the line now, not that big of a deal just need to bleed the brakes.u can get a bottle of brake fluid at the dealership or an auto parts store, just make sure its DOT3.
You probably loosened the bolt that holds the hose fitting on. As long as there is enough fluid in the reservoir, it doesn't leak any more, and the pedal feels right, it is back to normal and safe to drive.
DITO you either loosened the hose bolt or the bleeder valve...
now go buy a new can of brake fluid and have fun bleeding the brakes out... ALL OF THEM...
