Default HELP - Despirate !!!

I have a friend who has an A/C system for a 1999 or 2000 Civic 2 door (coupe) HX with MANUAL AND CVT transmissions. I need to know if it will work on my 1996 - 4Dr DX Civic. My DX doesn't have air and it has been 114f In my area lately and my wife is suffering on her commute to work. Any Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...

i think most 96-00 parts are pretty interchangeable as far as a/c goes. don't quote me though. try it and see if it works, won't hurt it.

where about are you - in the Nevada desert ?

these questions come up a lot. unless someone gives something definitive, you need to go to a library that has an interchange manual. guess it will not say how much it is to install a factory system on a car that does not have it, but the manual is telling you that the parts of the 2 interchange between the respective years that you are checking for.

You may want to check with the Dealer.
Either way, get your wife some A/C ASAP!
