Default Help...Oil seeping from my Honda Civic :(

I noticed some oil seeping from my '03 Honda Civic the other day... I can see where its seeping from... I thinks its called the oil pan gasket.

I've checked the all the fluids and they seem fine for now.

Just wondering if anyone can tell from the pic, what is leaking and how serious this might be. I will be taking it to a mechanic shortly. Thanks.

Could be a leak from the oil pan gasket, oil filter, valve cover gasket, or even the rear main seal. The 03 Civic does not have a distributor, so that's ruled out.

Looks to me like it's mostly on the transmission, check the left axle seal. Where the axle from the left wheel meets the transmission.

Welcome back RonJ!

Listen to everything this man has to say. I can't remember the last time he was wrong.

Thanks, but I would say listen to mk378. There's much to be learned from reading his posts. Trust me, I know.
