high beam issues
ok i failed inspection friday due to my high beam indicator does not work so i went stright to the dealer and got a bulb i replaced it and it still does not work so does any one have any ideas on why my instrument cluster light will not illuminate or any ideas on a way i can rig it to pass inspection
you could rig it up to work. but i dont see why it shouldnt work.
maybe a plug has a loose wire. or maybe the copper conection around the plug has came loose or worn off....
pull the cluster and look for any loose copper wire joint spots on the back of the cluster... something like this...

follow that HIGH BEAM bulb location strip and trace it back to where a wire harness conects...
it could be as small as the copper contact has worn a hole in the copper contact point or folded over....
if they look fine then you might have to do some custom wiring. a led, resistor and some wire ran from your highbeam wire off the steering colum to the led and simply put some hot glue or tape to hold it in that hole for the inspection.
