Cool Honda Civic 98 sputters

I have this problem I think it is with my fuel injection. When I press on the gas pedal I often have to release it or the car wil bog down and turn off. I can be cruzing down the street or freeway and this will happen. This tends to happen more when the car warms up or when I shift. The car turns on fine its when Im diving that this happens.

Keep cruzing!

Does sound a lot like misfiring. Particularly the spark wires will do that. Even if you have "new" ones, if they are aftermarket they could be crap right out of the box.

Also test your throttle position sensor with a voltmeter. I'm assuming there are no ECU codes?
