Hot start problem

Ok Iv clean out my IACV and the low idle is still there. I also got another IACV from the junkyard and also cleaned it out and still low idle. My radiator is full and i checked for air bubbles and there are none. any thoughts?

You could try opening the air screw on the top of the throttle body. With IACV unplugged, (all accessories off) engine should keep running somewhat less than normal speed of 750, then increase when you plug the IACV back in.
Also don't trust the dash tach to measure idle speed accurately. If the engine doesn't shake or stall I'd consider the idle speed OK.
Did you ever set the timing after replacing the distributor?

With the engine at normal running temperature. i turned the car off, and unpluged the IACV the idle was low, i pluged it back in and the idle went back up. When i put the car in drive, reverse, neutral, or back to park, it idles very low and the car will shake after 5 seconds of low idle. i found the screw, but which way do i turn it to increase the idle? and do i turn it when the car is off or on? thanks for all the replies
and no i never set the timing after i replaced the distributor but this low idle happened before i replaced the dristributor.

You have to set the timing with a timing light.
Turning the air screw counterclockwise will let more air in and increase the base idle speed. If the engine doesn't stall with the IACV disconnected, the air screw setting is about OK. Opening it too much will cause the idle to be too high. Did you clean the air passages in the manifold where the IACV attaches?
