Default how to open an eg hood with a broken cable

so, my car was broken into and my turbo stuff was stolen, but they broke the hood cable and i cant figure out how to get the hood open. anyone ever had to deal with this problem before?

i think i can get the bumper off with the hood closed, but its gonna be tough. its a brand new bumper and i spent 18 hours prepping the hood for paint. i will be all day. lol

Yeah man. It's a burnt situation. That happened to my 4th Gen when it got broken into. Good luck with the bumper and be patient so you don't hurt it.

How can the bumper come off if the hood blocks the 5 screws at the top?
Drive it up on some ramps and get a little extra room to work in there.

i got my hood open today. i reached behind the bumper and pulled on the cable. hopefully someone can use this info
