huge idle problem

if i plug the top hole it does nothing, if I plug the bottom one the car dies, does this mean it is my iacv

now problem is getting more weird, yesterday after driving while started to idle at 1000 for short periods of time. What in the world could it be?

Did you do this with the car at normal operating temperature? Do it with the car up to temp, there should NOT be suction in the bottom hole once the car is warmed up fully. If there is you need to adjust your FITV
