Default Huge Problem

Well this is perhaps the dumbest thing I have ever done, but anyway. We have 2 civics, one is an 88' and the other is a 00', the keys look and feel absolutly identical. The genous thing i did was, not thinking about about, was I put the 00' keys in the 88' and the car started. Then I went to start the 00' not realizing what I had done. I went back to the 88' and turned the car off but the keys would not come out. Which is my problem. See, dumb right? I don't know if anyone has run into a problem any where near this, but I need some advice on how to go about getting the key out of that ignition. Please, could anyone help me out?
