1996 Civic. What are my options or ideas besides buying 1 from Honda?

Thanks

What motor? Assuming it's the D16y5/7/8, Just go get one from Honda. Any reason not to get one from them directly?

It is the D16Y8 and 1 bolt is $14.00, not in stock. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else and to see what the did about it.

Might not get a huge response over here. You could always try honda-tech.com; much more activity over there.

Thanks for the tip. BTW I went online to a link someone posted in another thread that takes you to Majestic Honda, they have the bolt for $3.57....with shipping, handling and tax it was over $15 (from Rhode Island to CA). I called my local dealer at 2pm yesterday, $13 and will have it by 8:30am today! Ordered and done!

Yea, majestic Honda is nice for larger purchases when shipping etc is combined. I have ordered a bunch from them for past cars, but the purchases were rather large where it made sense. I'm also located on the East coast, so that may have helped.

Glad to hear you're getting the car back up and running.
