nope, no CEL, i did use a digital multimeter, i did get a steady reading at about 12 ohms, so that is in the range correct?

i HAVE bled my coolant system (drained, flushed and bled)

is there any other possibilities it could be? what does the 2pin jumper on the ECU do? (under the glove box-ish) on the kick panel

12 Ohms is good, though a faulty IACV circuit seems most likely. Could be a problem wire between the IACV and ECU, or even a bad ECU.

Do you measure 12V at the IACV wire harness connector with the key turned to ON(II)?

When the warm engine is idling, what happens to the idle speed if you disconnect the IACV connector?

Besides the idle issue, is the engine having any other problems?

--------------
The 2P service connector is used to retrieve CEL codes from the ECU and to adjust the ignition timing.

i hope it's not the ECU that's taking a dump, i do measure 12V across the connector with the key turned on.

if i disconnect the plug with the engine idling warm, the idle falls significantly (like its supposed to?)

other than that, i have an exhaust leak somewhere that i have been trying to find for about 6 months, but the engine runs great with no CEL's and i just got a new oxygen sensor for it about 4 months ago. i replaced the cap, wires and rotor along with all my exhaust seals but to no avail for the exhaust leak...

i did clean the iacv and the fitv this morning which seemed to help a little bit, but thanks for the help, i guess if it's the ECU, i'll just run along with it
