Default Just bought 2nd hand car, what to checkup?

Hey guys, just bought a 2004 Civic Si manual (56000km/35000miles).

I'm not very mechanical savy, so I'm bringing it in for an oil change, but I'm worried that the mechanics are going to try to upsell me stuff. What are some of the things that should/could be changed? Air filter? Transmission fluid? Spark plugs?

Should I get a tune up or is it not necessary?

Thanks

PS: love my "new" civic

Personally, I'd do as much of the "routine maintainence" stuff myself. Check the owner's manual (if one came with the car) to see what needs to be done and when. At minimum, oil change, check the air filter, and take it to a mechanic you trust if you're not going to do it yourself.
