Default Loctite 95 Civic Si Help!!

Im not sure about the details, but ive heard rumor that honda uses loctite on the driveplate/flywheel bolts.Ive been working on my auto-manual conversion and ive managed to remove 2 bolts from the driveplate, but the other four WILL NOT budge.Im just needing to know the best way to remove these bolts, not to mention the previous owner must have tried removing them as well since they are stripped. So if anyone would know how to properly remove stripped bolts/w loctite Id greatly appreciate any assistance given.

I do not believe loctite was used with those bolts. the main issue is that they are stripped that will greatly reduce any grip to remove them. you might end up having to cut them off or drill through them and get new bolts.

Ok problem solved,it turns out that the bolts where just torqued on there a lil bit to tight,180 pounds of torque wernt budging em.I torched em that didnt work.....so I just grinded them off and the studs came out by hand. The car is up and running, I just need to get better fluid.

well most likely you just dont have the right socket.... you cannt use a standard socket.. if you do youll round the bolts head right off.

its just a 12point socket, not the standard 6point sockets. you can buy them from napa autoparts, size 17m for fly wheel and 10m for the clutch.

and even tho it doesnt say loctite its best to use some on all the bolts and then torque them down properly to specs. any part that moves that much you want to be sure it doesnt back out and possibly fall out over time....
removing the tranny and/or motor is not something you want to do to just tighten a bolt...
