I just bought a 1995 civic ex, its a 5spd. When I put it into gear, doesn't matter if it's 1st or 5th, the shifter wiggles all over the place. This is my first Standard car so im not sure what the problem is. Advice please???

 

The bolt which holds it to the shift linkage must be loose. Get under the car and tighten it. Not too much, or you will have trouble moving the shifter into gear.
