It seems to run a little better after I took off the distributor and removed some corroded build up. I realized that you can use a socket aswell as a phillips head to takethe nutsoff, so the one that got stripped I just used a ratchet on.I used Some Emery cloth 320 grit sandpaper and rubbedsome off the rotor and a little on the 4 metal points on the inside of the cap. But doesn't really kick in at 4000 like it used to. Butthe carsrunning fine and still has some decent power so I'll just wait till I'm at the dealership for a dif reason and bring that up aswell. I disconnected the solenoid and reconnected it too when I removed the cap.

 

Change your air filter.

 

you might have scraped the connections down too far and now its just outta reach.... just a thought.... good luck

 

nah, i used really fine grit, and just brushed off the corroded white powder.

 

hmmmm.... so u cleaned ur connections and then u sayvtec isnot as hardas it used to be???? check ur air filter and ur fuel filter.... good luck

 

Changed my Cat but that did nothing! then i thought it must be my back box so disconnected it.......... Car goes like a rocket again so all it was was my back box blocked up! anyone know an easy way of cleaning it? its just a stock back box....... Just took it out for a spin an it spins the wheels in 3rd gear so i no all the power is bk im soooooooo happy
