Shop for a replacement block or engine.

Oh man are you kidding cant just pull it down and replace the rings and hone it or bore it out, these must be throw away cars when they brake

Sorry, if you have the skill and knowledge to do the work, then yes you can fix it. Most people could not do the work correctly themselves and paying a mechanic for the job would be prohibitively expensive. So most people opt to replace the block or engine as buying a replacement is not very expensive and removing/installing the whole engine is not an overwhelming amount of work.

yeah your are right, is there any thing I can do to it that will get it to pass IM the guy I take it to said if you clear the code and if the cel stays off long enough about 12 minutes than he could pass it we had 2 minutes left and the darn light came back on just a thought, thank your again for all your help
