Default "Movement" Alarm Question

So, I did a little bit of research on this forum about why my '95 civic ex (new to me a few days ago) chirps during a thunderstorm or when a harley drives past it, and discovered that it was some sort of 'movement' alarm. How can I deactivate this feature? I'm content with having a standard alarm system, but I'm the sort of person who doesn't want to be bothered with the chirps when people bump into it.

Also, when remotely locked/unlocked, the car omits similar chirps, which are typically normal, but are loud and obnoxious in this case.

Any advice as to what my options are would be gratefully accepted. Is it something that I can take care of on my own, or do I need to take it into a dealer to have it done?

Thanks a heap.
