Default NEED HELP ASAP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 96 HONDA CIVIC

OK So I put n a new complete ignition system for a 96-00 Honda Civic With 2 keys, because My key was getting stuck and I was told to put the new one in i also put it in because i lost the only set of keys i had to the car so i put this in. But Im still having the problem I was having because where my key gets stuck when i turn the car off and i can't get it out! but heres the funny part I have to pop the hood and take the battier termenal off the postive and then the key will come out and then I can put it bac on and redo the process everytime i go anywhere some one PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE help me Its driving me Nutts.

There's a little metal tab that locks your ignition in place so you can't take the key out. When you disconnect the battery, it releases the little solenoid. Look for a blown/damaged fuse, cut/crossed wires in the area around the steering column, etc.

If your car is an automatic, I would check around the shifter area because you can't pull the key when it is not in the park position.
