Need help remove rusted exhaust bolts
Go to a muffler shop, and have them HEAT UP the nuts on the rear of the CAT with a torch, then they can use a ratchet to remove the nuts and then give them your new ones (preferably stainless) to install in their place. They will only charge you $5-$20 for this (depending on the shop). Then you can go home and install your catback system. That is what I did, but they need to be careful so they do not hurt the 'downstream' O2 sensor with heat from the torch - an experienced exhaust tech will be able to do this without hurting the sensor.

I know the OP got them off himself. I made my post to help future visitors to this thread with the same issue get it resolved.
i just assumed you were talking to him. on the forum we get a lot of posts that are people not reading the thread before saying something.
