ive got a 91 civic hatch. its a dx, recently i did a multi point conversion, so basically its a 1.5 si. but i was on my way home the other day, and she threw a couple of codes, 16 and 22, but i dont have vtec. possible things ive heard were, resister box, all of the injectors might have taken a ****. ecu has an isssue. i havnt found any damaged wires, under the hood. when she took a **** i sat on the ignition and she started, but would not idel on her own and died again. i havnt gotten her stared after that. so if suggjestion. oh also i hvnt checked if the timing belt jumped a tooh but would that make her die? let me know... thanks!

 

i would say check the time for sure then if its starting consider the fuel pump make sure all fuses are good burnt fuses help indicate where the problem lies kinda sounds to me like the fuel pump if you did the multi injector conversion maybe the pump couldnt handle make sure your spark is good generally being of time it still runs but just ****ty it depends just check those few things and your boungd to find something out possibly do a compression test also
