Default new cv boot or new axle?

i have a 91 dx, and when i bought it the guy said that there is a knocking noise but you just need to replace the cv boot. but it seems to me to be getting worse. so i was thinking of just replacing the axle, but then i would rather just replace both. what do you gusy think the problem is. the knocking comes when i turn, either direction, and accelerate

knocking axle=bad axle.........replace the axle.......and as far as replacing just the boot on a good axle, i wouldnt bother. do yourself a favor, if you intend on keeping the car for a long time pay extra for the lifetime warrenty.

I don't think you will be needing any hasport axles unless you plan on modding. My recommendation would be to run over to your local autozone and pick up the axle(s). AutoZone offers a lifetime warranty on thier axles.
