Check for short in the ignition or try letting your key set in the on position for a few secs then start it.

what I do is let it crank for a sec or two, then let off and then let it crank and mine usually kicks over like that pretty consistently, however if I hold the key to crank it will crank for like ten seconds also. Try the crank, pause crank routine and se if that helps, I also noticed it started happening after I changed my wires, of course I went with super cheap autozone brand so it probably explains a thing or two but anyway, try my trick and see if it works for you

Shorts blow fuses.... Anyway, what happens when you turn the key? Does the starter turn the engine over but the car doesn't start? I would look at the fuel system. Pull the plug wires and have someone turn the engine over. Check for spark. If there is spark, your problem will most likely be with the fuel system.
