I just got a civic and am new to the moding world so go easy one me eh... Actually what really started all this was getting my *** handed to me by a Toyota Camry.

First Question... If money was only a minor issue and I dont want to do an engine swap, what can I do with a D16Y7 engine to get the best bang for the buck. I already bought a T25 Turbo with all the accessories; intake, downpipe, blowoff valve, etc..., so I figure while I am at it I might as well do everything else at once. And why did you suggest what you did. <--- That is the most important part. The knowing why.

Second Question... If I need to do the engine swap, what would be the best choice and why. The car is a 1999 Honda Civic DX.

Thanks you guys. Looking to cook some Camry soon!

Edited: Forgot to say that it is a automatic. Need to fabracate new mounts for a manual tranny so been putting it off. Unless someone knows of an easy way to do it without alot of banging and wielding.

Id leave it in and do a mini me swap. Use the forum search on mini me and you learn. It will give you vtec. Once you have both of those, you could beat a camry in reverse. Also get an intake, header, and exhaust to help the turbo breath better.

The tranny should be a direct swap.
