that's good news. glad that extended warranty is paying off for you. I'd go ahead with a transmission flush though if your mileage is getting up there.

I think this should go on the problems solved page, listed as:

How not to get ripped off by dealers.

Just a couple of hours after myaman posted his problem code, with the dealers response. mundy5 and RonJ provided factorytrouble code lists, along with trouble shooting flow charts, for the real problem.

Armed with the info that you guys gave him, and a list of covered items, the dealer was forced to fix his car for free.
He was saved from paying over $4000 to a dealer that was giving him wrong info. For all we know, it may have been the first item on the trouble shooting checklist, disconnected wire.

Like I said, this is the best honda site for realhelp.

I have the same situation, so did changing the linear solenoid work?
