I bought a 02 Civic EX this past weekend. Test drove, ran great, etc.

Got the car, drove it around all day on Friday and Saturday. Last night I went out at like 8pm to go somewhere, and I started the car. The key turned over, but would not start.

I went back to the car this morning, and tried to start it, and it started.

What is going on here?


Also, the previous owner of the car delivered it to my house, and ran the tank down to EMPTY (What a 'hole right?!), so I filled the car with Premium Unleaded.

My thoughts are possibly something to do with the fuel/gas. Either a water got int he fuel lines from condensation since it was down to empty the previous day, or something along those lines. It was extremely cold last night as well, but also cold all day this morning/today.

Any thoughts/suggestions? I find it completely odd that it would start fine, then not start one time, then start again?!
