Hi,

I have an 07 civic si and normally use Mobile 1 full synthetic for my oil. I've been told that Royal Purple is a better oil... but most of my friends all have american trucks and no one knew how it would react to my si. That sounds stupid to me, but before I switch to Royal Purple, does anyone have experience with it?

Secondly, anyone know of the issues with these cars and their iffy throttling in the morning when they are cold? Can I address that with the dealer? I'm still under factory warranty.

last i read, royal purple is the second best motor oil made, right behind REDLINE, ive used it twice, i have personally always liked it, the only negative with it is that its pricey
