Default P1456 code and reset

I got the 1456 code for fuel tank pressure. I tightened the gas cap and will be driving the car a lot today.

Will the computer turn off the check engine light if this was the problem, or do I have to reset it myself.

If I have to reset it myself, should I drive the car today to build up pressure before resetting??

will eventually turn the light off after about 4-5 drive cycles, or get it cleared at autozone etc

before you start the car, turn the key to the accessory position and let it sit for 10-15 seconds.

ORIGINAL: mxs

before you start the car, turn the key to the accessory position and let it sit for 10-15 seconds.

When I turn the key to the accessory position the light comes on after about 1 second and did not reset. After driving the car a lot today Im thinking that I'll go buy a new gas cap to see if that works. Thanks for the quick reply.
