Default P1456 and P0502

I know what the codes are. I went through a puddle the other day when it rained. These two codes came up. Where should I look first to fix them? I just checked the gas tank cap. The O ring is good and the tank had pressure when I opened it.

I'd image they are dry. It happened a couple weeks ago. Temperatures have been mid 80's - 90's here. Also, can someone please post a picture of where the VSS is located and the canister/purge valve of the EVAP System.
