Hi,

I am writing to seek some advice from you guys since I am running out of idea what is going on on my 97 Honda Civic HX.

Anyone know why code P0700 and P1790 came on when I started my car and the CEL will flash for a while, D light keep flashing until I restart my car again. My tranny will hesitate at cold. If I press the gas hard enough, it will suddenly engage and the car will jump (But tranny jump thing is not my main concern).

Things that I have done include: spark plugs, spark wires, ignition coil, tranny swap, TPS (0.45V), EGR and control solenoid cleaned.

Same thing happened with my old CVT tranny, I though swapping out the old tranny could fix that P0700, P1790 and flashing light while I was wrong.
