^be sure to read his sig before you try that.

And then check for spark and tell us if you hear a low hum from the back seat when you turn the key in the ignition to the place right before it starts.

checked and had no spark, took off distributer cap and cleaned the points and started right up, really weird saying it has been running good and havent had starting problems at all until this, problems solved for now, the distributer cap and rotor are brand new, like 100 miles on it and is already the points were a little corroded, not alot but more than i would expect from only 100 miles, sounds weird??? i dont really know... but cleaning them fixed it unless it was something else that fixed it but i didnt do anything but check for spark and clean the points

if not spark then u may have a bad coil, if its the fuel pump not coming on then it could be the main fuel relay.

Isn't the coil inside the distributer? Never seen a pic saying what all those sensors in the distributer are

how does the starter sound when you crank it? check connections like mentioned, sometimes the terminals on the battery will become oxidized and you'll see blue or green stuff. Sand paper it off or they even make a neat little tool to scrap it off.
