Hey guys, just doing a preliminary research now. i have a 2001 LX coupe and i really dislike lack of power the stock engine produces.
as far as i know there is not much i can do squeeze more out of it so i was thinking about swapping, so far ive heard about RSX engines and accord engines.
i want to put a 6 speed manual tranny from RSX as well. the question is: RSX engine and tranny, are they direct bolt on? how bout accord engine? do i have to change ECU? will my instrument cluster work?
any info would be appreciated.

 

dont know too much about that, but i do know that you have to change to a k series engine (which the rsx has.

 

the k series are the only engines that will fit use the search at the top of the page no it is not a direct bolt in ive hear the radiator support needs to be cut although i could be wrong

ECU for sure has to be swapped. Check out THIS WEBSITE. It has some of the best K series swap info i've seen.
