Default PO8-5 on a 97 lx help

I put a PO8-5 head that came from a 94 SI [I think] on my 97 LX,
But my 97 distributor did not bolt up!!

If i can find the right distributor for the PO8-5 head and re-wire it,,, will it work?

If not i will have to fix my old LX head and put it back on it leaks PSI back into the intake. When you turn it by hand you can here it coming out the intake, But now that i have the head off the valves look ok,[what should i look for?]

Plz help!!

Were the valves properly adjusted on your old head?

SO...I put the LX head back on..
The car ran good on the test run, but b4 i got back home it started to run funny, at low RPM's it had no power and run ruff,, but when it got up to 3-4k RPM"s it ran strong,

I checked it with a timming light and it was off,
So i fixed that,,But same thing runs ruff mostly starting in 1st gear and at low RPM's
