popping noie

Default popping noie

Civic Coupe 06......When I reverse and turn the wheel I hear a popping noise in my car. When I come to a stop, switch gears and drive off Ill come to a quick stop and again lll here the popping sound. When I drive off afterwards and brake there is no sound

use the search feature this question has been answered a couple times. normally its the cv joint

Put the front end on jack stands. Crawl under the car and inspect the inner and outer CV boots of both front axles. Also grab the axles and check for excess free play. If bad, normally it's best to just replace the entire axle.

All the sounds may be coming from a bad axle(s).

CV joints are a DIY if you've spent anytime working on suspension... You'll will get a dirty doing it with all the grease involved. Expect a few hours to get it done.
