Default power loss between 2 and 3000 rpm

yesterday i was driving my car and all of a sudden it started to bog down when i would hit about 2000 rpms. it would stay bogged until i hit about 3-3500. if i punch the gas it stops the sputtering and accelerates like normal. i just replaced the spark plugs, the wires look fine, and i replaced the distributor cap about 4 months ago. any suggestions?

Use some fuel injector cleaner (good stuff)or seafoam.....whats with all the idling questions? If you searched this topic you would find 20 posts just this month on your same kind of situation.
