Default Problem starting my 91 civic

Im having a minor problem starting my 91 honda civic. Usually all i have to do is press on the clutch down, turn the key and start. For the past couple week, I have to press on my clutch pedal really hard to trigger some sensor to get the car to start. I wonder is it hard to fix?

There's a switch under the dash above the pivot for the top of the clutch pedal (i.e way up there).
