there is a rattling noise that comes from my exhaust pipe when i hit 3k rpms to 3.5k rpms, does anyone have the same problem?

 

A similar problem was occurring with the wife's car. The heat shield on the muffler had rusted apart at the one end, and it was rattling roughly around those same RPM's. Get under your car and take a look at the shield. I ended up putting a new muffler on it, and the rattle is gone.

 

its brand new... but it sounds cool bc the engine is bass w/ a lil mid/treble, and it adds a "raspy" sound to it, bad ***
