it shouldn't be that big of a fine, it's just that they want to know who ever put it on and then they will go after them BIG time for not obaying the law

You know what I noticed that a lot of people in this site reply to the last post on the thread and talk to someone previouly in the thread. It makes it confusing when trying to figure out who everyone is talking to. Just as suggestion, if you decide not to use quotes, at least click on the reply box of the person you are talking to so it could make it clearer.

Actually it is over 1000 bucks here in California for the person driving the car or the owner.

I live in SD we have no emissions check or anything the only thing they stick us with aroud hear is noise. but someone else took the cat off this car before i had bought it otherwise it would have one im not looking for any sort of #'s form this car i have my eclipse for that but even that is staying where its at i think im going to sell it. im really just putting this car back togather they people who had it before me basicly destroyed it i mean its not that bad but it was pretty hacked up and im using if for a daily driver i pit lots of miles on and the other car dont need them. thanks for the help last night i did the seafoam thing cleaned the throttle body which was pretty bad and gaped the plugs seamed tohelp sofar but who really know yet i guess we will see as i burn the tank out. i will do the fuel filter soon and that so if you have any other advice ill do it i need to check the o2 sensors yet to. thanks guys.

ok my civic is running rich also. i put it on a snap-on scan tool to find that out. wear can i find the foam treatment and on a scale of 1-5 rate it fora beginner.
