seatbelt

my seatbelt wont pull out it comes out like an inch and thats it. It is locked in and I need it to work. can anyone explain what is wrong? i have and 89 civic hatchback thank you guys.

are you pulling it too fast? or are you driving and braking while tryng?

Honda seatbelts are a "safety item" and have a lifetime (of the car regardless of the # of owners, age, etc.) unlimited mileage warranty. Go to a Honda dealer and they will replaceit for free.
