Default seatbelt sensor

I got a question regarding the seatbelt sensor for a 07 civic. I am considering replacing the stock seat with a bucket seat. But am not sure how to deal with the seat belt sensor (the one that beeps every time you don’t fasten the seat belt). From the research that I did, it seems that the sensor is based on weight that’s on top of the seat. Is there anyway for me to modify the sensor so that it fits in the bucket seat? I haven’t started on the work yet, want to get all the information I can before I rip stuff out. Thanks.
