Driving down the road, it sputters like running out of gas or stalling, then ok. did this 4 times in 3 miles so I went home.
Not the fuel pump or filter that has been checked.
Distributor cap, wires, plugs recently changed.
Maybe the distributor itself?
Ideas?

Does your check engine light work and was it on or blinking at the time?

 

Yes it works. No it didn't come on.

 

My dear son came and replaced the distributor and ta da no worries!
He also fixed the darn squealing belt.
