Steering column

Hi guys I have 1992 Civic Vti 4 door saloon I need to replace the steering column due to a thief breaking my steering lock,how hard is it to do and could I get any pictures on how to swap the column over please!

If they just punched out your lock, you can change the lock assembly not the whole column. Take the plastic covers off and see what damage you have. You need to drill out the screws holding the lock to the column, as they have breakway heads to discourage theft (though not very effectively). Another way to remove those screws is to cut slots in them with a Dremel cutting wheel, then back them out with a standard flat screwdriver.

Hi I have replaced the ignition barrel and switch but the steering lock still does not work am I missing something or will I need to have the column replaced as the locking side does not work?

Is there any pictures I could get to see please?
