You may be able to rent a torque wrench from AutoZone, in essence free of charge. Give them a call to make sure.

go buy a torque wrench right now!!!

and make sure the torque range is good for the torque specs you're going to be using it on.

if you want a unique steering wheel, then purchase a civic type r unit with air bag, or an rsx unit with airbag? that way you're still safe in your dd. and your steering is going to feel harder to turn if you buy an aftermarket steering wheel with a smaller diameter than your oem unit.

I put a JDM EK9 wheel on my 98 civic and the wheel never turned when the bolt was tightened down.
And that torque wrench is a good idea to have laying around, never no when your going to need it.

are you sure it was an actual jdm ek9 wheel? or was it the ITR wheel that needs a new steering hub such as from a DC2 or Eg?

and you also have to get an SRS equipped EK9 steering wheel if you want it to work correctly with your stock USDM hub. The non-SRS steering wheels will not work.

Don't want to go off topic but, its a True JDM CTR Cluster.
The U.S version has a the reset button on the left ( Oil reset ) that sticks out to the clear lense, so if and you could buy
the CF bezel it wont fit, sorry.

the "cf" overlay that is used on the ek9 bezel fits the us couterpart. the only thing that doesn't fit perfectly over is the engine reset key port, which only requires a little work using a drill or dremel if you have the *****.
